The ROBOTIS RH-P12-RN is a self-contained two-finger gripper built around the Dynamixel Pro actuator platform, popular on research manipulators. Passive joints in each finger let the grip adapt to object shape, while current-based position control enables force-limited grasping of delicate items. It reaches 170 N maximum gripping force and a 5 kg recommended payload while weighing only 500 g, communicates over RS-485 using Dynamixel Protocol 2.0, and offers detachable fingertips for custom tooling. A UR-certified variant (RH-P12-RN-UR) and an updated RN(A) revision are also available.
