Link 6 is Kinova's industrial collaborative robot, made in Québec, Canada. It pairs a 6 kg continuous payload (at 200 mm from the wrist) across a 1000 mm reach with 0.1 mm repeatability and IP54 ingress protection, targeting machine tending, assembly, welding and polishing tasks. The controller is built around an Intel Core i7 processor with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD, exposing certified redundant Safety I/O (PLd Cat.3 per ISO 13849-1/-2:2015), general-purpose digital/analog I/O, and a Modbus TCP/IP server for industrial-cell integration. The wrist feeds through power (up to 4 A @ 24 V) and data to the end effector for cable-free tool installation, and carries a standard ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 tool flange. An optional Intel RealSense-based vision module is available.
