The NEURA LARA 5 is a six-degree-of-freedom collaborative robot from NEURA Robotics' LARA line, designed and engineered in Germany. It handles 5 kg over a 800 mm reach, weighs 26 kg and repeats to ±0.02 mm, with IP66 ingress protection and a Ø156 mm base footprint on a Ø140 mm bolt circle. Power and signal run through a complete inner harness to an ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 tool flange carrying an M12 12-pole I/O connector (3 digital in, 3 digital out, 2 analog in, 24 V at up to 1500 mA), a Modbus RTU tool bus, an RGB status LED and two programmable buttons for ZeroG hand-guiding and path recording. The arm ships with NEURA's NRLCC control box (493 × 470 × 243 mm, 20 kg, 100–240 V AC) running the real-time NR-Motion Master controller, exposing 8 GPIO, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, USB 3.0 and safe I/Os, and is programmed either from the 2560 × 1600 teach pendant's Neura easy interface or through the NeuraPy Python API. Safety is handled by the Safe Master architecture targeting PLd Cat.3 / SIL2, with safe position, speed, torque, limit and I/O functions, and the arm can be mounted in any orientation for continuous 24/7 duty.
