The maxon HEJ 70 (High Efficiency Joint) integrates a torque-dense motor, planetary gearbox, 14-bit absolute encoder and EtherCAT control electronics into a sealed IP67 actuator weighing 1.05 kg. It delivers ±19 N·m continuous and ±50 N·m peak torque, up to 28 rad/s joint speed, with efficiency up to ~74%, designed for dynamic legged and mobile robots.
