The igus ReBeL is a low-cost, injection-molded-plastic collaborative robot arm built around igus's self-lubricating motion-plastic bearings and strain-wave gears, sold in 4, 5, or 6-axis configurations. This 4-axis variant carries a 3.0 kg maximum payload at a 550 mm maximum reach (350 mm nominal reach), weighs 6.2 kg, and repeats to ±1 mm. The plug-and-play configuration bundles an integrated base controller, 24 V power supply, Ethernet cable, emergency-stop switch, and the free igus Robot Control (iRC) software, so it can be wired and programmed within minutes. igus markets the ReBeL as the lightest cobot on the market, rated IP42 and tested to ISO/TS 15066 for collaborative operation.
