Overview

The Fourier N1 is billed as the first fully open-source humanoid robot: Fourier Intelligence released its complete body resource package — bill of materials, design drawings, assembly instructions and basic operating software. It stands 1.31 m, weighs 38 kg, and has 23 degrees of freedom (no dexterous hands), built from aluminium alloy and engineering plastics. Driven by Fourier's FSA 2.0 integrated actuators (96 N·m peak torque), it runs at up to 3.5 m/s and lasts 2+ hours on a swappable battery. In testing it logged 1,000+ hours of outdoor trials including 15–20° slopes and 20 cm stairs.
