NEO is 1X Technologies' consumer humanoid for the home. It stands ~1.68 m, weighs ~30 kg, and uses 1X's proprietary Tendon Drive actuation for compliant, low-energy, quiet motion (22 dB) with 95% backdrivability and 0.1 mm repeatability. It carries ~25 kg (lifts up to ~70 kg), walks at 1.4 m/s, and has high-DOF tendon hands. Perception uses dual 8.85 MP 90 Hz stereo fisheye cameras and 4 beamforming microphones, with onboard AI on the NEO Cortex (NVIDIA Jetson Thor, up to ~2070 FP4 TFLOPS). NEO entered beta household deployments in 2025 with US Early Access deliveries in 2026.
