Overview

The DG-2F keeps the simple two-finger form factor but replaces parallel jaws with articulated fingers: three degrees of freedom each, six in total. The fingers wrap and conform rather than closing flat, so objects of different shapes and sizes — and objects in confined spaces — stay in scope without moving up to a multi-finger hand. It supports both pinching and enveloping grasps: up to 4 kg on a pinch and 10 kg enveloped, with 25 N at each fingertip. BLDC motors with 12-bit absolute encoders drive a 500 Hz control cycle, and Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and Ethernet TCP/IP all address it, which is what makes it drop into existing industrial cells. Optional force, F/T and tactile fingertips are available, as are suction fingertips.
