The Motoman HC20DTP is Yaskawa's enhanced 20 kg collaborative robot, successor to the HC20XP. It features IP67 protection throughout the robot body, making it suitable for food processing, pharmaceutical, and other hygiene-sensitive environments. The robot integrates moment sensors in each joint for power and force limiting collaboration without safety fences. It supports four modes of collaborative operation and can switch between collaborative PFL speed and full industrial speed mode. The HC20DTP offers hand-guided programming (direct teaching without pendant) and runs on Yaskawa's YRC1000micro controller with PROFINET, Modbus TCP, Ethernet TCP/IP, and RS-232C/RS-422 communication. With 1900 mm reach, NSF H1 food-grade grease, and all-direction mounting, it targets palletizing, assembly, machine tending, and material handling.
