The 4-beam configuration of the MLD 520 (standard function class) is the finest-detection member of Leuze's Type 4 multi-beam access-grid line, using a tighter 300 mm beam spacing than the 2-beam configuration for better coverage of a guarded opening at the same up-to-70 m range. Like the 2-beam variant it has no integrated muting on this standard tier (MLD530/535 extended tiers add muting). Rated Type 4 / Category 4 / PLe / SIL3, IP67, M12 8-pin connector, aluminum housing.
