The EZ-SCREEN LS is Banner's rugged, general-purpose Type 4 safety light curtain family in an extruded aluminum housing with die-cast zinc end caps and an acrylic lens cover. The 14 mm resolution tier detects a finger-sized intrusion and is the finest-resolution member of the LS line, trading response time for detection capability at every height. Available as a stand-alone pair (5-pin or 8-pin M12 pigtail, or Removable Disconnect) or as a cascade-capable unit (up to 4 sensor pairs on one system) with remote fixed blanking to ignore a fixed obstruction in the field. Rated Type 4 / Category 4 PLe / SIL3, IP65/IP67, -20 to +55 degC.
