The Agile Robots Thor 20 is the heavy-payload flagship of the Thor collaborative robot series from German-Chinese robotics company Agile Robots SE (a DLR spin-off). With 20 kg payload, 1700 mm reach, and TCP speeds up to 2.8 m/s, it targets loading/unloading, palletizing, and heavy material handling. The 72 kg arm features IP54 protection and a compact 252.5 mm base diameter. Communication is via TCP/IP, Modbus-TCP, Modbus-RTU, and RS232. The control box accepts AC 110-240V and provides expandable I/O up to 48 DI/DO. Note: as of mid-2026, the Thor 20 is listed as 'Coming soon' on the global site while other Thor models (3, 7, 7 Pro, 12) are shipping.
