The TX2touch-60L is a member of Stäubli's TX2touch POWER cobot range — the only cobot range certified to SIL3/PLe. It is built on the proven TX2 industrial kinematics (light rigid structure, patented oil-bath JCS gearboxes, 19-bit safe digital multi-turn absolute encoders that need no homing run) and made collaborative by an advanced safe touch skin: touching the skin stops the robot, and being struck or trapped by the arm does not injure. Five modular SIL3-PLe safety functions — safe limited speed, safe stop, safe zone, safe tool and safe touch — can be combined for the cell, and skin pads of the same safety level can be added to the gripper. It carries 3.5 kg over a 920 mm reach with ±0.03 mm repeatability (ISO 9283) and a maximum cartesian speed of 11.1 m/s. The CS9 controller adds an embedded web server, EtherCAT master, OPC UA and the usual industrial fieldbuses, plus an encapsulated Cat5e user circuit up the arm for multi-gripper, camera and sensor integration.
