MotorCortex is a real-time control software platform by Vectioneer (Netherlands) for building high-end industrial and robotic applications. MotorCortex Core is a hard-real-time, Linux-based control framework that talks EtherCAT to servo drives and I/O from any vendor; MotorCortex Robot is a turn-key motion-control application supporting both serial mechanisms (anthropomorphic, SCARA) and parallel ones (hexapods, delta robots) on standard x86 or ARM hardware. A responsive browser-based GUI doubles as a single- or multi-touch teach pendant, with visual programming for fast robot programming, plus open APIs for JavaScript, Python, C++ and C#.
