Ameca is Engineered Arts' flagship humanoid built for human-robot interaction and research. It has 61 actuated degrees of freedom — 27 animating the face/head, 5 in the neck, 8 across the shoulders, 10 in the arms, 8 in the hands and 3 in the torso — driven by Engineered Arts' Mesmer technology for lifelike expression. It stands 1.87 m on a 600 mm stationary base (it does not walk), with 2× 8 MP eye cameras, ear-mounted and 4-channel chest microphones, and a 20 W chest speaker. It runs the Tritium robot OS with REST/WebSocket and Python/Node SDKs.
