Overview

The myBuddy 280 is a purpose-built integrated dual-arm robot rather than an ad-hoc pairing of two single arms. Two myCobot-class 6-DoF arms sit on a common body with a rotating waist joint, giving 13 degrees of freedom in total. It ships in a Raspberry-Pi-onboard configuration (myBuddy 280 Pi) with a 7-inch interactive display and two 2 MP HD cameras. Elephant Robotics supports it with an open Python SDK (pymycobot) and ROS, making it a common education and research-teaching platform for dual-arm manipulation, imitation learning demos, and coordinated two-hand experiments.
