The S300 Expert keeps the same 2 m protective field / 8 m warning field / 270° optics as Standard but scales configuration up dramatically: 48 fields across up to 32 monitoring cases (8 without an extra static/EFI input), with 2 static and 2 dynamic (incremental-encoder) control inputs for speed-dependent zone switching. EFI gateways add CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP, PROFIBUS DP/PROFIsafe or PROFINET PROFIsafe integration on top of the same RS-422/EFI core.
