The SafeZone Mini (442L-SFZNMN3, 3 m protective field variant) is the compact member of Rockwell's SafeZone family: a single configurable safety field plus up to two configurable non-safety warning fields (the second field is switchable via a configurable I/O — useful for gradual AGV braking to reduce brake wear) over a 270° arc. Configurable resolutions 30-150 mm, 80 ms response time, park mode for mobile applications, integrated External Device Monitoring (EDM). Connects via a single 8-pin M12 QD connector for power/I/O/OSSD plus a separate M8×4 serial port for RS-232 configuration — no native fieldbus. A 2 m protective-field version (442L-SFZNMN) shares the identical spec sheet apart from a smaller field and no 150 mm resolution option. Rated Type 3, Category 3, PLd, SIL 2, IP65.
