The RSL410 is the entry-level model of Leuze's RSL 400 safety laser scanner family. A fully rotating transmitter/receiver system gives it a uniquely high 0.1° angular resolution (about 3x the sampling of conventional scanners), which extends its usable range and improves immunity to dust and airborne particles. The XL variant covers up to 8.25 m at the standard 70 mm safety resolution over a 270° scanning angle, safeguarding up to 160 m² with a single device. It offers one switchable field pair (protective field + warning field) or a 4-field set (1 protective + 3 warning fields), three configurable signal outputs, restart interlock (RES) and selectable contactor monitoring (EDM). The connection unit (CU408) is removable with integrated configuration memory, an 8-pin M12 plug, and supports device swap in under 30 seconds without recalibration. All RSL 400 units have an integrated alphanumeric display and electronic spirit level for fast alignment; configuration and diagnosis run over Ethernet TCP/IP or Bluetooth via Leuze's Sensor Studio software.
