The SE2L-H05LP is IDEC's compact safety laser scanner: a single unit continuously scans 270° to build a 5 m protection zone plus a 20 m non-safety warning zone, switching between up to 32 pre-configured area patterns. It supports dual-zone protection (two independently monitored hazardous areas from one scanner, replacing two light curtains), muting/override for material pass-through, and master-slave linking of up to 4 units over RS-485 for long conveyor lines or large cells. Rated Type 3 / Category 3 / PLd / SIL2, IP65, with USB configuration, RS-485 master-slave, and an Ethernet 100BASE-TX distance-measurement data port.
