The PSENscan M 5.5 is the longer-range master unit of Pilz's PSEN sc M 3.0/5.5 08-12 safety laser scanner series. It optically monitors a 275° field with up to two simultaneously monitored zones (one safety zone plus one warning zone) across up to 10 switchable zone-set configurations, and can chain up to three (8-pin wiring) or ten (12-pin wiring) PSEN sc S subscriber units as slaves off one master for multi-scanner area protection. Configuration is done over Ethernet via the PSENscan Configurator software.
