Overview

The GelSight DIGIT is a compact vision-based tactile sensor (originally developed with Meta AI) in which a camera images the deformation of a soft elastomer gel, producing 320×240 tactile images at 60 fps. It captures micron-level surface geometry and contact detail for machine-learning and dexterous-manipulation research, in a small fingertip form factor (~20×27×18 mm).
