The ZGS integrates a newly designed ejector, supply/release valve, silencer and digital pressure switch (SMC ZSE10) into a single unit that bolts onto a cobot's tool flange -- connect one air line and one M8 cable and it's ready to run. Instead of discrete suction cups, the ZGS uses a perforated foam pad (91 holes at the largest size) backed by a selectable vacuum-saving-valve or fixed-orifice suction plate, letting it self-conform to uneven, textured, or porous surfaces -- such as damaged or irregular corrugated cardboard -- where individual cups would leak. Available in three sizes (200x120, 300x180, 400x240mm) with a choice of 20mm or 30mm foam thickness, 2/4/6 ejector assemblies, IO-Link connectivity, and compatibility with Universal Robots, OMRON/TECHMAN, YASKAWA and FANUC cobots. SMC's suction-cup sibling, the ZGP (family_slug smc-zgp-zgs), shares the same platform for smoother, sealed surfaces.
