The ZGP is the suction-cup counterpart to SMC's ZGS foam-pad vacuum gripper system, sharing the same all-in-one architecture: a newly designed ejector, supply/release valve, silencer and digital pressure switch built into a single unit that bolts onto a cobot's tool flange. Where the ZGS's perforated foam pad self-conforms to uneven or porous surfaces, the ZGP uses discrete 2.5-stage bellows suction cups (FS61 fluoro-rubber, which SMC claims has over 4x the abrasion resistance of its urethane cups) for smooth, sealed surfaces with a repeatable grip point -- such as clean corrugated-cardboard box faces. Available in three plate sizes (200x120, 300x180, 400x240mm) with 25mm or 50mm cup diameter options, IO-Link connectivity, and compatibility with Universal Robots, OMRON/TECHMAN, YASKAWA and FANUC cobots.
