The SMC LEHF is the horizontal, long-stroke member of SMC's LEH electric gripper family -- a sibling to the vertical/compact LEHZ, not a size variant of it (separate family). A step motor drives a slide screw via a belt-and-pulley coupling (LEHZ instead uses a lever) that opens and closes two flat fingers guided on a linear guide for alignment, inside a flat horizontal body built for reach rather than LEHZ's compact vertical footprint. The series spans body sizes 10, 20, 32 and 40, each offered in a basic or a long-stroke (roughly double) variant, with stroke (both sides) from 16 to 80 mm and gripping force from 3 to 180 N. Controllers support EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, IO-Link, CC-Link and DeviceNet, and -- like the rest of the LEH platform -- the actuator ships as a matched actuator+controller package (LECP6/LECP1/LECPA/LECPMJ or JXC-series direct fieldbus-input controllers), connected to the gripper by a separate actuator cable. Also sold cobot-ready packaged as LEHR (with a UR mount kit: ISO 9409 flange, absolute encoder, single M8 connector) -- see vendor_metadata; not modeled as a separate product in this run.
