The C4000 Advanced is SICK's configurable-function safety light curtain line (predecessor generation to deTec4, still sold/serviced): fixed and floating blanking, beam coding, configurable scanning range, cascading with UE402, and safe SICK device communication via EFI, configured over PC with CDS software. This receiver (C40E-0401DB040, 14 mm resolution, 450 mm protective field height) is the finger-protection tier: Type 4 / Category 4 / PLe / SIL 3, IP65 aluminum-extrusion housing, M12 8-pin extension connector for cascading/EFI plus an M8 4-pin configuration port.
