The Schmalz FXCB is a lightweight large-area vacuum gripping system designed for collaborative and mobile robots in palletizing, packaging and intralogistics. Its 3D-printed housing keeps the 331 × 159 mm gripper at just 1.85 kg while handling payloads up to 35 kg through 45 suction cells behind a high-performance sealing foam (suction-cup interface optional). Integrated venturi ejectors driven at 4.5–7 bar (5.5 bar optimal) deliver ~354 l/min suction with a maximum 53% vacuum, gripping mixed goods, cartons and porous surfaces even when the foam is only partially covered. A 24 V DC interface handles valve control and vacuum feedback.
