The GuardShield 450L is Rockwell's patented-transceiver safety light curtain platform — each stick can be field-configured as transmitter or receiver — available as the 450L-B Basic (POC) and 450L-E Advanced (PAC) tiers. Both are Type 4 per IEC 61496-1/-2, up to PLe (Category 4) per ISO 13849-1, SIL 3 per IEC 61508, SILcl 3 per IEC 62061, IP65, protective heights 150-1,950 mm in 150 mm increments, 30x30 mm cross-section housing. The Advanced (450L-E) tier adds integrated Class-2 laser alignment, cascading, and muting/blanking/beam-coding functionality selectable via plug-in modules; 24V DC ±15% supply. This hand-protection, Advanced (PAC) SKU is 30 mm resolution.
