The maxon IDX is a compact integrated drive that combines a powerful brushless EC-i motor with a built-in EPOS4 positioning controller and single-turn absolute encoder, optionally paired with a maxon planetary gearhead. Operating from 12–48 VDC with a 0.4 ms control cycle and IP65 protection, it offers absolute positioning and high overload capability in one industrial-grade unit.
