Two research strands: mobile autonomous systems (navigation, localisation, environmental perception and control of mobile systems in structured and unstructured environments) and cognitive robotics (intelligent algorithms for situation interpretation, decision-making, environment interaction and autonomous function control). Opened in 2014; publishes its robotics software openly on GitHub.
