Laser technology R&D, from additive manufacturing to laser robotics
Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology, one of the largest contract-research providers in laser development and applications. Work spans laser additive manufacturing (LPBF, laser material deposition), cutting, welding and surface treatment, with robotics integration including an autonomous mobile repair robot using laser material deposition and an articulated-arm robot for VR-assisted laser welding.
